What's in your handbag?

If you are anything like me, you like to carry around everything except the kitchen sink. Sometimes my bag is so full up I can't even fasten it, and usually it is full of rubbish.
Since having baby Max, sadly my beloved Cath Kidston handbag has been put on the shelf in favour of the enormous baby change bag all new mums seem to carry, me being no exception! Although, I have to admit, I love my Yummy Mummy bag almost as much ;-)

So just what is in your bag? Well, I have just emptied mine out to see just what treats are in there...

In my bag today...
  • Android tablet
  • iPhone
  • Lip balm
  • Lollipop
  • Bib
  • Muslin cloth
  • Sleepsuit and vest
  • Box of juice
  • Baby wipes
  • Cath Kidston purse (full of receipts, vouchers, cards and general rubbish, but sadly not much money)
  • Nappies
  • Changing mat
  • Mirror
  • Paracetamol
So there you have it. The everyday paraphernalia of a mummy. I have NO idea where the lollipop came from (party bag maybe?) and I have enough receipts to sink a ship (most of them for items that are long gone, broken or eaten!) I wonder what the value of my bag contents is? A fair bit when you think about it - the tablet, iPhone and Cath Kidston purse alone cost a substantial amount, and I have a stash of cloth nappies, which don't come cheap either!

I would love to know - What's in your bag?

* I have entered this blog post into the Money Supermarket 'What's in your handbag' competition *

  1. It i nice to see that you only kept he most important things in your handbag. Some women bring along with them expensive things that purchasing a handbag insurance is almost a necessity. LOL! In your case, you kept thins plain and simple.
